Boiled Potatoes
Potatoes are a good source of carbs and stacked with several essential nutrients. The carbs present in potatoes are mainly starch, which is responsible for about 20 percent of its fresh weight. The raw potato consists of much resistant starch, which makes it difficult to digest. Fortunately, we do not consume potatoes in its raw foams.
Therefore, since we cook our potatoes, the starch becomes digestible. The boiled potatoes do not include several resistant starches compared to baked potatoes. This makes them a better option for quick digestion. [5]
Similarly, if a cooked potato is allowed to cool after boiling leads to an increase in their amount of resistant starch, therefore, you will have difficulty digesting a cooled potato.
