To do chin-ups, you can follow these simple steps:

– Use a supinated grip to hang your body from a bar, which means palms should face to the body

– Do not swing the body by engaging the legs and core

– Squeeze the shoulder blades downward and together in an opposite movement to pull the shoulders into place

– Pull the elbows downward and bend at your elbows to lift the chest toward the bar. Make sure to contract the lats

– Try to reach as high as you can before gradually returning to the initial position
