Right Coronary Artery
The right coronary artery courses around the heart’s edge. It transports blood to the atrioventricular and sinoatrial nodes, the right atrium, as well as the right ventricle. This vessel is divided into two small branches, including the acute marginal artery and the right posterior descending artery. Along with the left anterior descending artery, it plays an important role in supplying blood to the septum or middle of the heart. [3]
