In people with soft tissue sarcoma, the ratio of surviving 5 more years after initial diagnosis is:
– Around 80 percent in localized cases when sarcoma is not spread
– Around 58 percent in regional cases when sarcoma spreads to surrounding tissues
– Around 15 percent in distant cases when sarcoma spreads to other body parts
In people with bone sarcoma, the ratio of surviving 5 more years after initial diagnosis is:
– Around 77 percent in localized cases
– Around 65 percent in regional cases
