On Day 1:
Oxaliplatin and folinic acid should be administered intravenously in separate bags, at the same time. This should span a period of over 2 hours. A bolus of Fluorouracil will be injected into your bloodstream via a cannula or central line. An infusion of Fluorouracil through a pump or drip continuously for up to 22 hours (or 46 hours in the case of modified Oxaliplatin de Gramont) follows.
