During this procedure, the doctor might ask you to move the toe back and forth to check whether the movement is restricted. Also, he or she might check some common symptoms like a bump, swelling, or redness. An X-ray can be done when the doctor suspects a bone deformity or injury. This scanning test would show detailed images of your bones. Based on the results, the doctor can find out the exact cause or understand the severity of the condition.
