Raised Patch Borders
Another way to determine whether you have ringworm or not is to look at the border of the patch. In these conditions, your skin might come with a raised border which can expand outward when the infection develops on the skin. Over time, the patch would result in a rough ring in a circular shape. Notice the fundamental contours of the infected or scaly patches since they tend to be wavy as the outline of a worm or snake. Also, you might see a couple of rings that are interconnected. [2]
