Understanding Hyperthyroidism
People suffer from various conditions where one of them is Hyperthyroidism which is a condition where the thyroid gland is overactive thus producing and releasing excess thyroid hormones which end up circulating in the bloodstream. The hormones include T4 or thyroxine and T3 or triiodothyronine. You may note that of the two hormones, T3 is the most active where most of the T4 gets converted into T3 in the blood flow.
This excessive production of the two hormones results in a condition known as Thyrotoxicosis which may lead to health disorders that indicates the following symptoms.
