Other Risk Factors
Some other risk factors for stomach cancer include ethnicity, gender, and age. Most of the reported cases occur in those older people who are more than 50 years old, especially between the age of 60 and 80. When it comes to gender, men are usually at higher risks than women due to some typical features at work and physical activities. As for the ethnicity, stomach cancer tends to occur in Asian/Pacific Islanders, African Americans, or Hispanic Americans than in non-Hispanic and white people. Since these factors cannot be changed, you should have regular health checks to diagnose the condition early. [12]
