Unilateral or Bilateral Pain
Both unilateral and bilateral pain can occur when you are suffering from plantar fasciitis. However, pain in one side is more common, accounting for more than 75% of the cases. This is mainly because most of us often favor one foot or leg over the other. During daily activities or tasks, our body will put a lot more pressure and tension on this part, thus leading to the condition. In more severe cases, the sensation would spread from one foot or leg to another. A simple way to alleviate the symptom is to take OTC medications and applying ice packs. [7]
