Most Common Triggers of Anxiety

Caffeine

Many people often start their new days with a cup of coffee which is loaded with caffeine. However, consuming coffee too much would actually worsen or trigger anxiety’s symptoms. Some studies have shown that people with a social anxiety disorder or panic disorder might be particularly sensitive to the anxiety-inducing effects of caffeine-containing drinks. In most cases, this component might trigger a racing heartbeat and panic attacks. While a little caffeine could improve your focus, excess amounts would increase nervousness and other issues such as sweating palms or ringing ears. Thus, consider cutting back on your intake of caffeine and replacing tea or coffee with non-caffeinated beverages. [4]
