Symptoms of metastatic breast cancer may be different, depending on the affected sites of the body. Specific signs would include:
– In bones: bone pain or weakened bones that can be prone to fracture
– In brain: possible seizures, serious headaches, vision issues, behavior changes, balance or walking problems, nausea or vomiting
– In lungs: hoarseness, chest pain, trouble catching the breath, chronic cough, coughing up rust-colored or blood phlegm or spit, tiredness, or weakness
– In liver: itchy skin, jaundice, a feeling of fullness, pain around the shoulder blade, abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, lack of appetite, or unexpected weight loss [5]
