9 Menometrorrhagia Treatments
NSAIDs
Taking NSAIDs or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can be an effective way to relieve pain caused by menometrorrhagia. A few common options include nabumetone, mefenamic acid, aspirin, naproxen, and ibuprofen. With many anti-inflammatory and painkilling effects, they can target the surrounding muscles of the uterus to reduce back pain and abdominal cramps. Keep in mind to follow the directions and take the right dosages. You should not take them more than 3 times per day, ideally after each meal. There would be some possible side effects, such as gastric or peptic ulcers, vomiting, or nausea. [7]
