Types of Leukemia

Some main forms of leukemia include:

– Acute myelogenous leukemia: This is a common form in adults and children. It is the most common form of acute leukemia in adults.

– Chronic myelogenous leukemia: This form mostly occurs in adults. People with this type may not show any signs for a long period of time before cancerous cells multiply rapidly.

– Chronic lymphocytic leukemia: This is the most common form of chronic leukemia in adults. People may feel well for a long time without the need for treatments.
