Hypoventilation
Hypoventilation means you do not breathe enough. This problem occurs when your cognitive system signals your lungs not to breathe during a head injury, a stroke, under anesthesia, or as a side effect of some drugs. In addition, anything that blocks your airways would also interfere with breathing and cause hypoventilation. Many people with this condition can also develop hypoxia or hypoxemia due to a lack of oxygen flows to their lungs. This is often a serious health issue that requires immediate medical attention. Otherwise, it might lead to many other complications. [9]
