When to See a Doctor
You should visit the doctor when noticing any of the following signs:
– Blood in stool
– A high fever above 39 degrees
– Warning signs of dehydration, such as dry mouth, lower urination, dizziness, and dark urine
– Persistent vomiting or diarrhea in more than two days
Children with any of the following signs should get medical care immediately:
– A high fever above 39 degrees
– Bloody in stool
– A dry tongue or mouth
– No urination for more than 3 hours
– Vomiting in more than 12 hours
– Diarrhea in more than 1 day
People with compromised immune systems, pregnant women, and older people should seek medical advice as soon as they notice the symptoms. [7]
