Another goal of these procedures is to find out the exact form of epilepsy. A neurological exam often involves testing feeling abilities, coordination, muscle strength, balance, and reflexes. The doctor might also do a few blood tests to check whether essential organs, such as thyroid or kidneys, are functioning correctly.
