Differences Between Tremors and Dyskinesia

What Are Tremors?

Tremor is a condition that causes involuntary shaking of the face or limbs. It is a common sign in people with Parkinson’s disease. A lack of dopamine in the brain is the main cause as this neurotransmitter plays a key role in coordination and body movements. In addition, many other diseases can also lead to tremors. Parkinson’s tremor may affect any part of the body. In most cases, you may experience the symptoms in your feet, jaw, hands, or fingers. The face and lips may shake as well. [1]
