Intolerances and Sensitivities
Intolerances and sensitivities might happen in people with chronic fatigue syndrome. This means they could have a few changes in what they can tolerate. However, these signs do not occur in everyone and thus are not needed for a diagnosis. Common problems include sensory overload, alcohol intolerance, sensitivity to cold or heat, worsening or new allergies, as well as sensitivities to medications, chemicals, foods, smells, light, and noise.
