High Blood Pressure
Another risk factor for brain aneurysms can be hypertension or high blood pressure. In general, blood pressure measures how much pressure blood puts on the artery walls when it travels. When this measurement is too high, it would weaken or enlarge the blood vessels. The normal level at a healthy adult should be below or around 120/80 mm Hg. A much higher level may increase the risk of circulation, blood vessel, and heart issues. You can make some lifestyle changes to reduce blood pressure, such as quitting smoking, reducing stress, keeping a healthy weight, working out regularly, and having a healthy diet [8].
