5 Common Types of Arthritis

Juvenile Arthritis

Juvenile arthritis mostly affects children. In fact, it is an umbrella term for many forms of arthritis in kids. Juvenile idiopathic arthritis is the most common type. This group would have negative effects on the joints of children. They tend to happen in those people who are younger than 15 years old. Some typical symptoms include eroded bones, misaligned joints, changes in growth patterns, and tightened tissues or muscles. An extended period of swelling, fever, fatigue, stiffness, or aching joint would indicate the presence of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. [4]
