Nausea
An adult or a child suffering from strep throat can feel nauseated at one point or another. Nausea is that feeling of disgust that makes you feel like throwing up. This feeling can be so strong that it can even make you feel sick. It also adds to the reason people with strep throat lose interest in food. Nausea can lead victims of strep throat to want to consume spicy and sour (acidic) foods to curb the sickening feeling, but this is a wrong move because such foods will only irritate the inflamed tonsils more and worsen the case.
