Breathing Difficulties While Lying Down
Patients with COPD often find themselves sleeping on an armchair instead of their bed. Or, using more pillows to prop their chest and head up while on the bed to make breathing less difficult. If you stay off your bed because you have troubles breathing when you are lying flat, this could be a warning sign of COPD.
