Inability to Understand
Stroke also comes with an inability to process information and understand communication. You hear someone speak about some specific things, but you cannot just make anything out of what he or she has said. This symptom is linked with the inability to speak manifestation. The brain does not only play a vital role in the speech process, but it also contributes to the comprehension process. With the damage to the brain, patients with stroke will always find themselves confused about one thing or the other being said and forget things easily. The surprising part of it all is that they might not even-even be aware of all these. This is why it is imperative to keep stroke patients in a safe environment free of hazardous items like poison, sharp objects and chemicals.[11]
