Alcohol
This is also one of the causes of migraine headaches. Consuming alcohol triggers the development of migraine headaches. This trigger could be within 30 minutes to 3 hours of drinking. People who have rebound headaches are prone to develop headaches no matter the quantity consumed. Alcohol contains different properties that could be the cause of migraine headaches: ethanol which is the primary ingredients in alcohol is converted to chemicals that trigger a migraine when it gets into the system. Also, it contains histamine which is a chemical that boosts inflammation in the body and causes migraine; congeners which are byproducts in it have also been linked to a headache. [3]
