Pain and Swelling in the Heels
It has been noticed that there is a decreased mobility in people with psoriatic arthritis due to the pains and swelling they experience on their heels. If you wake up in the morning or after resting for some while and you seem to notice a substantial pain and swelling in your heels which renders you immobile, it is possible you have a psoriatic arthritis flare.
Also, this symptom can be an indication of plantar fasciitis which is also part of underlying psoriatic arthritis. Try to improve this symptom by wearing shoes that support your feet, engaging in slow and gentle stretches or strengthening exercises and also trying physiotherapy. [8]
