Excessive Tears
When the eyes are faced with overwhelming irritation, they begin to produce copious quantities of tears in a bid to lubricate or soothe themselves. Watery eyes can be indicative of a variety of eye diseases. A blocked tear duct may be the cause of excessive tearing, even so, dry eyes, conjunctivitis, bacterial keratitis and certain allergies. Excessive tearing of the eyes indicates the need for medical attention.
