10 Symptoms of Whooping Cough

Vomiting

This symptom is most common in children suffering from whooping cough because of the fragility of their systems. At the moment of a coughing fit, their whole systems are all shaken up and whatever it is they had taken in before the seizure is coughed up again, leading to vomiting. Hence, it becomes hard for them to keep anything down in their stomachs. The best thing to do at this moment is to try and keep the kids calm and not agitated or running around. Also stroke the kids’ backs and chests to ease the pressure building up. This can go a long way to prevent them from throwing up. This symptom is quite rare in adults since they have stronger systems. [5]
