Traveler’s diarrhea
Traveler’s diarrhea is mainly triggered by drinking water or eating foods which are contaminated with parasites, viruses or bacteria, especially when you travel to a tropical area. Within 1 to 2 days after ingesting, your stools might get watery, explosive, and sometimes contain blood or mucus. In most cases, the condition will be better in less than 1 week with suitable home care. Other possible symptoms include fever or possibly vomiting. [2]
