Dry Skin
Dry skin can be both a symptom and a trigger of eczema. In one sense, people with this condition tend to be more vulnerable to dry skin. This would occur even when they do not have any major symptoms. Nevertheless, flare-ups can also happen when you cannot keep the skin moisturized and hydrated. The key to prevent this trigger is to keep your skin always hydrated with emollients and moisturized. In general, it can retain more water in the skin, which can reduce redness, itchiness, and pain caused by eczema.[7]
