Causes of Breast Cancer
As said earlier, breast cancer happens when normal cells go through major changes in genes. There are no single particular causes of this condition. However, there are many risk factors that could make you more likely to develop breast cancer. Having a family member with this form would increase the risk. Around 10% of reported cases are caused by genetic factors. Also, breast cancer is more common in overweight and obese women. Some other possible risk factors include a sedentary lifestyle, alcohol consumption, smoking, and a high density of breast tissue. [3]
