Rare Eye Contacts
Another early symptom of Asperger syndrome, especially in young children is the lack of eye contacts. They often look past your face or over your shoulder during a conversation to avoid this act. Instead of looking in the eyes of somebody who is trying to talk to them, these kids often focus on their toys or a video game. Along with their difficulties in comprehending non-verbal signs and other social cues, this makes it difficult for them to engage in social situations. [9]
