The Causes and Preventions of Hormonal Belly

Are you concerned that your jeans are getting tighter and your shirts are no longer fitting and are more difficult to button? You might have also noticed a feeling of fullness and gradual heaviness around your abdominal region. For those of us who are always concerned about their shape, this is really an uncomfortable situation and requires a prompt response.

The hormonal belly is a protruding abdomen characterized by the presence of excessive fats in the abdominal region. It could be visceral fats which stay attached to intra-abdominal organs like liver and pancreas. It could also be subcutaneous fats which are mere fatty depositions below the abdominal skin.

Hormonal belly can have different etiologies which most likely could be; Hormonal fluctuation or from dietary causes.
