Signs and Symptoms of LPR
LPR may occur without any clear signs. When symptoms appear, they would not like acid reflux, but would resemble an allergy or a cold. There will be no chest pain or heart burn. Common signs of LPR include difficulty swallowing, vocal hoarseness, chronic cough, sore or swollen voice box, sore throat, or postnasal drip. In certain circumstances, you would experience only 1 or 2 of these symptoms. Many individuals who have these problems tend to think that they are having acid reflux or a respiratory issue. This can make it challenging to diagnose LPR. [5]
