Risk Factors for Stage 0 Breast Cancer
It is still not fully understood what causes stage 0 breast cancer exactly. However, studies have shown that the condition is more prevalent in those who have:
– A personal history of atypical hyperplasia or benign breast condition
– The first kid after 30 years old
– A family history of breast cancer or genetics that make them vulnerable to breast cancer
– Increasing age
– The first period before the age of 12 or beginning menopause after the age of 55
