Maculopapular Rash Diagnosis
During the diagnosis of maculopapular rashes, your healthcare provider will ask you a few questions about your medical history and general health conditions. Make sure to describe exactly the symptoms and the areas where the rashes began to show up. Other questions include any medications or drugs you are taking, recent traveling to regions with viral infections, or other health issues.
After that, a physical examination can be done. Urine tests or blood tests can also be performed to check for the presence of an infection.
