Unisom and Vitamin B-6 for Morning Sickness: Are They Safe?

What Is Morning Sickness?

Morning sickness is a common condition in women during pregnancy. It typically affects up to 70 percent of people and causes vomiting and nausea, which would be severe. Symptoms tend to begin around six weeks of pregnancy and last for a few weeks or months. They typically improve in the second trimester of pregnancy. In spite of its name, morning sickness may occur at any time during the day. Most women tend to feel nauseous for a short period or vomit one or two times. In more serious cases, nausea may last a few hours and vomiting would happen more frequently. [1]
