Types of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphomas

Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma is an umbrella term for T-cell lymphomas that affect the skin. The two common subtypes include Sézary syndrome and mycosis fungoides. This form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma may also involve other parts, such as blood, lymph nodes, and internal organs. Most symptoms are general and quite similar to those of other types of cancer. If you notice any abnormal signs, visit your doctor to make a precise diagnosis. Some tests can be done, such as a physical exam, blood tests, bone marrow biopsy, chest X-rays, PET scan, or CT scan. Depending on the stage of cancer, overall health, and symptoms, there are different treatment plants. [6]
