Eye Lesions
Another possible symptom of tuberous sclerosis is the development of some eye lesions. When growths occur on these parts, they would trigger some white patches on the retina, which are those light-sensitive tissues located at the back of your eyes. As a result, the overall vision would be affected. Whenever you notice some white spots anywhere on your eyes, but particularly in the pupil, make sure to consult your doctor immediately. A comprehensive eye exam is needed to find out the underlying cause of the condition. [8]
