In more advanced cases when your relapsed multiple myeloma spreads to many different parts of the body, combination drug therapy can be a good option. As the name implies, it combines different medications to provide many benefits at the same time. Firstly, they would have a more potent effect on cancerous cells, thus increasing the chance of killing them. More importantly, the procedure would reduce the likelihood that these cancerous cells would become drug-resistant over time.
