Sleep Issues
In the early stages, many people with Parkinson’s disease often have to deal with many sleep issues. These include nightmares, sleep apnea, and narcolepsy, excessive fatigue during the day, insomnia, and sporadic or uncontrolled movements when sleeping. These issues are mainly caused due to the effects of the condition on your neurological system, which controls these functions. While some OTC drugs might help relieve this symptom, it is just a temporary solution. In most cases, sleep problems tend to get worse when the disease progresses over time. [6]
