Dehydration

Another cause of tension headaches is dehydration, particularly when you are hungover or have recently vomited. If your body does not get sufficient fluids, it would manifest as a headache. The same can also go for hunger. Therefore, it is important to take in adequate water on a daily basis, which should be no less than 2 liters. Avoid too cold water as it would worsen your migraines or headaches. Avoid tea, coffee, and alcohol as well. Instead, it is better to drink plain water, fruit juice, and herbal tea. [7]
