Signs and Symptoms of Spasticity after Stroke
Spasticity may have different effects on the body. Common signs and symptoms may include tight knees, curling toes, finger tension, bending foot, bending arm, foot weakness, stiff fingers, legs, or arms, muscle tiredness, deformed joints and muscles over time, discomfort or pain due to contracture, and involuntary crossing of the legs. These problems can vary from person to person. They make it much more challenging to move, walk and perform daily tasks properly. [4]
