Another major Alzheimer cause is a family history. Researchers have found the likeliness of developing Alzheimer to a family that has a previous history of individual members of the family having the illness is higher. One of the significant understood causes is the apolipoprotein E gene or the APOE where if a variation occurs, it results in APOE e4, which increases the risk of contracting Alzheimer disease. You find that not everybody with gene variation will develop the disease. One of the individuals might inherit the genes and contract the illness while others will still inherit the disease but live a healthy life without the illness. [3]
