Symptoms of Inflammatory Breast Cancer
Unlike other forms of breast cancer, inflammatory breast cancer is unlikely to cause a mass or lump. It typically begins with a warmer and heavier breast that appears swollen and red. Bruises may occur as well. Other possible signs may include:
– Quick growth or swelling in the breast
– Redness in one-third of the breast, which would become clearer and subside gradually
– Nipple moves sideways or flattens out
– Hot sensation, tenderness, or aching in the breast
– The breast is hard to touch
– Breast skin changes, such as an orange texture, welts, or hives [3]
