Regular Check
If your dogs are vulnerable to tick bites, it is important to check them on a daily basis. After a walk outdoors, make sure to work through their fur with a comb and remove any fleas or ticks you notice. You should inspect the skin to check whether ticks take root. A simple tip is to look for irregular lumps. Do not forget sensitive areas, such as in and behind the ears, between the toes, around the head and tail, as well as in the belly and armpits. [9]
