Massage
When a wisdom tooth comes through, the gums might be inflamed and hurt. You can try massaging the surrounding areas to help ease the tooth through the gums and relieve the pain. Make sure to clean your finger thoroughly or applying a sterile gauze before starting to keep it clear of bacteria. Rinse your mouth with a mouthwash containing chlorhexidine before rubbing the top of your wisdom tooth gently. Avoid massaging too hard as it would worsen the pain. Repeat 3 to 4 times during the day to get the best effects. [5]
