In addition to these common symptoms, a grand mal seizure would be noticed by many other signs. Several people might scream or cry out during the first few seconds. Due to the loss of muscle strength, they would also experience a loss of bladder and bowel control during or after the seizure. A period of confusion or disorientation usually follows, which is also known as postictal confusion. People with a grand mal seizure can feel sleepy and fatigued as well.
