Sleep Well
Fatigue and weakness are some main symptoms of fibromyalgia. A simple way to deal with them is to sleep well each night. This will help the body and mind relax, thus alleviating stress and speeding up healing. Ideally, you should sleep from 7 to 9 hours per day. A poor sleep would worsen the pain caused by fibromyalgia by damaging your pain-inhibition pathways. Some useful tips to have a good sleep include sleeping and waking up at the same time per day, taking a bath before sleeping, avoiding alcohol, nicotine, or caffeine, and staying away from electronic devices.
