Genetics
Some genetic factors may play a part in contributing to the development of narcissism. Scientists have found out that several traits or characteristics can be passed down from parents to their generations and increase the risk. These include domineering or overpowering behaviors, a sense of entitlement, as well as other signs of fear, aggression, and anxiety. Also, many cases of narcissism are associated with inherited genetic defects. However, the exact causes and genetic elements are still unclear and complex to determine. [4]
